McBRIDE, PATRICIA "PAT" I. - The death of Patricia Irene McBride of Saint John, NB occurred on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Oxstead, Surrey, England she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Emily Church. Pat was a member of the War Brides Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 68, she enjoyed gardening and knitting and had been employed with Red Rose Tea and K-Mart. Survived by son, Michael Patrick McBride of Victoria, BC; daughter, Carolyn (John) Stevens of Saint John; brother, John Douglas Church of England; five grandchildren, Michelle, Patrick, Michael, Joanna and Katherine; and three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Kyle and Colin. Predeceased by five brothers and sisters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 1 pm with cremation to follow.
