LUCAS, HELEN MARGUERITE - Mrs. Helen Marguerite Lucas, formerly of Sussex, NB, passed away at Peter D. Clark Long Term Care Centre on April 18, 2005 after a period of failing health. Born in Sussex NB on February 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vida (Adair) Willis and the beloved wife of the late Percy B. Lucas who passed away in 1995. Helen is survived by her daughter, Doris Harrison and her husband Vaughn of Windermere, Florida; her son, Beverly and his wife Jennifer of Ottawa, Ontario; two grandchildren, Lana of Windermere, Florida and April of Sibulan, Philippines, plus several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her brother Edward Willis and her sisters, Janet Nottley and Myrtle Hallett. Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Helen was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Sussex and a Life Member of the United Church Women and the Sussex Health Centre Auxiliary. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Friday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from St. Paul's United Church on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Philip Dallimore officiating. Interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
