Donald Carlye Baxter AMHERST - Donald Carlye Baxter age 80 of Amherst passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan. Born in Amherst, he was a son of the late Arnold and Jessie (Bacon) Baxter. In his younger years Donald worked for Nappan Experimental Farm and later for Dunlap Hardware and Roy Mac until his retirement. He is survived by his three sisters: Leta Clements of Amherst, Dorothy (Tex) of Texas U.S.A., and Elsie (Gerald) Richards of Moncton NB; two brothers: Ernest (Betty) Baxter of Amherst and Guy (Barb) Baxter of Truro NS; nephew: John (Kittee) Baxter of Truemanville NS, and many other nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by brothers: Arnold and Leslie. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Truemanville Cemetery with Rev. Sheldon LeGrow officiating.
