ANDREWS, OLIVE M. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 21st, 2005, Olive May (Heans) Andrews, wife of J. Ralph Andrews and mother of John A. , Linda of Rothesay, NB. Olive is also survived by one sister , Francis of Norwich, New York, several nieces and nephews. Olive was born in Saint John, NB, daughter of the late Arnold W. and Ethel May (Holder) Heans. Olive had resided in the Stanford Connecticutt area for a number of years where she received her education. Returning to Saint John she had been employed by T. McAvity Ltd. and later with NBTel and the Canadian Cancer Society. Olive was a member of the Church of St. John & St. Stephen and had been an active member of the Ladies Society and the Mothers Club. She had taught in the church School and had been a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Thistle - St. Andrews Curling Club. It was Olive's request that there be no visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will take place at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen on Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to the the Church of St. John & St. Stephen would be appreciated by the family.
