DEMPSTER, ARNOLD STERLING - It is with shock and great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Sterling Dempster, Norton, NB, on Saturday, May 21, 2005. He was the beloved husband and friend to his wife Marlyn (Ricketson) Dempster, a wonderful and loving father and father-in-law to: Kimberly and Ken Brown, Norton, and Karen and Stephen Bennett, Burlington, ON, the most precious and awesome grandfather to Katie Brown and her fiancé, Jonathan Ferris, Kellie Brown, Andrew and Allyson Bennett, a good and honourable son to Cora (Forsyth) Dempster, and the late Aubrey Dempster. A brother to sisters: Louise Mitchell, Irene and Peter Owen, Saint John, Sharon and Stephen Chase, Bloomfield, Sandra and Paul Walsh, Salt Springs, and his brother Joey and Carol Dempster, Saint John, brother-in-law Ralph and Marilyn Ricketson, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Fred, nephew Scott and niece Joanne. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), Norton, with visiting Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Kevin Vincent, will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. from the Apohaqui Community Church followed by interment in the Riverbank Cemetery.
