POITRAS, N. EDNA - N. Edna Poitras of Woodstock passed away at her residence Monday, May 30, 2005, at the age of 77. Born at Mainstream, she was the daughter of the late Judson Alexander and Bessie Isabelle (Clark) Foster. Edna is survived by four sons, Pat Poitras (Peggy) of Woodstock, George Poitras of Saint John, Alfred Poitras of Mount Pleasant, and Claude Poitras (Billy) of Woodstock; four daughters, Suann Murray of Brampton, ON, Lorraine Brown of Lansdowne, Sheila Kris of Saint John, and Tressa Dore of Woodstock; two sisters, Velma Bubar of Gordonsville and Geraldine Gee of Perth; two brothers, Hilton Rideout of Muniac and George Rideout of Debec; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Edna was predeceased by a son, Richard Poitras; a grandson, Timothy Brown; and a great grandson, Keedin McLeod. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM from St. Gertrude's Church. Father Dan Melanson will be the Celebrant, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery. www.scottfh.com
