MORRISEY, KATHLEEN GAINES - (1928-2005) Kathleen Gaines Morrisey, 78, of Moncton passed away on Monday June 13, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Kathleen was born in Harvey, Albert Co. on May 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Roland A. and Hazel (Anderson) Smith. She was a cashier at the Saint John Airport and also worked as a cashier for Woolworths in Saint John. She attended the Harvey Baptist Church when she was younger and later attended the Highfield Baptist Church. She also belonged to the Orange Lodge. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be truly missed. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Hazel Marie Robertson (Bill) of Hampton; son Gary Norman Morrisey (Trudy) of Riverview; sisters Helen Morrisey of Riverside-Albert, Carla Fogolin (Paul) of Hamilton, Ont., Nelda Dean (Douglas) of Saint John, Cleo Kuffiner (George) of Winnipeg, Marina Wilson (Ronald) of Sussex; brother Murice Smith of Toronto; by her precious grandchildren Angela, Karen, Wanda and Jennifer; great grandchildren Matthew, Nathan, Ryan, Nicola, Julie, Joshua and Kayla; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Norman Morrisey; sister Myrna. She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in the Bayview Cemetery, Harvey. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
