TOWNSEND, ANN DOREEN - The death of Ann Doreen Townsend, wife of the late Donald Grey Townsend, occurred on June 12, 2005. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Harold and Gladys (Howard) Hines. She was an RN having worked at the Saint John General Hospital and the DVA Hospital. She was also the secretary with the Grand Masonic Lodge. She is survived by her daughters Kimberly Ann McCurdy and her husband Ken of Grand Bay Westfield, Merron Adele Townsend of Toronto, Cindy Lynn Townsend Nunes and her husband Dan of Toronto, brother Ronald Hines and his wife Evelyn of Saint John, sister Shirley Marirea and her husband Harry of Perth, Australia, grandchildren Kenneth McCurdy, Kristin McCurdy and Marasia Ann Townsend Nunes and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Her brothers Howard and William (Bud) and sister Merron Ulseth predeceased her. Following cremation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 9:30 am from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Shriners' Hospital for Children would be appreciated. www.brenansfh.com
