WALSH, JAMES WALTER - The death of James Walter Walsh occurred on Saturday June 18, 2005 at his residence Ridgewood Veteran's Wing. Born 1916 in Saint John he was the son of the late William Henry and Adeline (Voutour) Walsh. He was a Veteran of WWII serving overseas. James is survived by his wife Priscilla (Palmer) Walsh; sons Darrell, Earl, Pearly and Leo Walsh all of Ontario; daughter Barbara Smith of Calgary; sisters Donna Stackhouse and Beatrice Stratis both of Saint John; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, brothers Leo and Tom and sister Margaret Ann predeceased him. By request there will be no visitation. A legion tribute to a Veteran will take place at 1:45 p.m.; followed by a Memorial Service at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday June 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
