Ellsworth Francis (Bugsy) "Peter" Arsenault AMHERST - Ellsworth Francis (Bugsy) "Peter" Arsenault age 59 of Amherst passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at home. Born March 3, 1947 in Amherst, he was a son of the late Francis Joseph and Violet "Chubby" (Dort) Arsenault. Peter enjoyed playing crib with his friends at the Elm Tree and playing in tournaments around the province and New Brunswick. He adored his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him. Peter will also be missed by his baby Koko. Peter is survived by his loving wife, the former Catherine Hallett; daughter Ann (Mark) Sneyd of Toronto ON; two step- children Ron Barker and Cassandra Barker both of Toronto ON; six sisters Shirley (Sam) Brown, Debbie (Frank) Comeau and Carol Worthington all of Ontario, Sandra (Jack) Mawdsley of Brookdale NS., Darlene (Albert) Voss and Kim (Chuck Oulton) Arsenault both of Amherst; five brothers Harvey of Moncton N.B., Walter, Michael and Paul all of Amherst and Jeff of Ontario; four grandchildren Beth, Emily, Clifton and Daemon; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. His remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visiting on Thursday, January 25, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with Parish prayers at 8 pm.The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the St. Charles site of Holy Family Parish with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery. In lieu flowers, donation in Peter's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation. www.campbells-amherst.ca
