D.E. MARK CHIASSON

CHIASSON, D.E. MARK - The death of D.E. Mark Chiasson occurred on July 1st, 2005 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. Born in Saint John on September 3rd, 1957 he was the son of Patrick and Verda (Hovey) Chiasson. Predeceased by his father Patrick, he is survived by his mother, one son Barry of Saint John, one daughter Kristy of Penticton, B.C., one brother Joseph of Surrey B.C., three sisters Theresa Ogden (Kenneth) of Hampton, N.B., Bonita Dent (Larry) of Hope, B.C., Karen Basque (Norman) of Langley, B.C., and devoted companion Ann Steinki. While in New Brunswick Mark was employed at the Altlantic Sugar Refinery, the restoration of the Imperial Theatre, and also in the Aquaculture Industry in Nova Scotia. Mark also spent four years in the Signal Corps of the Canadian Army. After moving to British Columbia he worked as a cabinet maker in Richmond until early retirement due to illness. Following cremation in British Columbia, memorial and committal service will be held in Saint John, date to be announced later.
