HALLETT, MAE (GRAMMIE) A. 1910-2005 - Mae Hallett, 94, wife of the late Ernest Hallett passed away quietly July 10, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Berlin, New Hampshire, USA on October 4, 1910; she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Bennett) Clough. She came to Canada after marrying her husband Ernie and lived on a farm in Mouth of Keswick for many years. After the death of her husband, she resided in Scotch Settlement, NB and then moved to live with her granddaughter Cheryl Miller, Long Reach, NB for her final years. While living there Mae filled the house with love and laughter. She loved to make people laugh, have company, go for drives and her favorite treat was eating vanilla ice cream. She will be greatly missed by Cheryl, Whitney, Alyssa and Jeremy Miller, Dave, Jenna and Ashley Vail as well as her other grandchildren, Stephen (Jeannie), Helen Jean (Wayne), Billy (Gloria), Michael, Deborah, Darrell (Angie), Darlene, Dorothy, Larry (Marie) and Neil (Kathy); great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ernest in 1976; daughters Jean Wilson, Shirley Jardine and Charlotte Yerxa. Grammie (Mae) was and is dearly loved and will be missed for a long time to come. A special thank you to Sherry Raynes for her loving care and support. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held Monday evening 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at 2:00 PM. Rev. Roger Urquhart will officiate. Interment in the Pickard-Merrithew Cemetery.
