Elwyn Furlong MONCTON - Elwyn Furlong of Moncton passed away peacefully at Moncton hospital with his family by his side on Friday, Jan. 9, 2009. Husband of Joyce Furlong. Born in Linden, N.S., son of the late Bedford and Lois (Mills) Furlong. Elwyn worked in management for Mc-Kay's Dairy for 35 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Joyce of 60 years; sons Garth (Jos%C3%A9e Bouchard) of Scoudouc, Kevin (Cathy) of Moncton, and daughter, Elaine (Larry) Peacock of Langley, B.C. He is also survived by grandchildren Alissa, Logan, Sarah, Mikey, Ian, Anna, Dominique and Marie-France as well as brothers Warren, Dougie (Vera) and Harold; sisters Helen (Arnold) Cook, Alice Angus and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14 from Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m., followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Extra Mural Nurses would be appreciated.
