BOUCHER, ROGER L. - (20 year Veteran of Korean War): After a courageous 6-week battle with cancer, Roger passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 14, 2005 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Claudia (nee Gaudet) for 48 years. Loving father of Diana Gillis (Brian) of Rothesay, Daniel of Halifax, Thomas (Lorna) of Musquash, and Joe (Shirley) of Victoria BC. Roger will be sadly missed by his siblings Presley (Pat) of Connecticut, Fred (Ruth) of Connecticut, and Jeanette West (George) of Florida; by his grandchildren Jennifer Gillis, Krista and Donovan McLean, Andreas Peterson; and by his great-granddaughter Breanna McLean. Friends may call at the Castle Funeral Home, Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John (634-1701) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Fallsview Chapel on Monday, July 18, 2005 at 11 o'clock with reception following in the Assumption Centre (721 Chapel St. W., Saint John). Private interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Roger, donations may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
