NORRIS, GEORGE E. - The death of George E. Norris of Grove Hill, husband of Marga (Langguth) Norris occurred July 15, 2005 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. He was born in Barnesville, son of the late Harry and Ruth Norris. George was a veteran of WWII. He was a Supervisor at the Department of Transportation retiring in 1984. Surviving besides his wife Marga are one daughter, Marlene Dupuis (Donald) of Barnesville, three grandchildren, Matthew, Jenna and Rebecca Dupuis; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers Gordon, Kenneth and Harry Norris and one sister Josephine Ayer. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Monday, 2:00pm at St. Barnabas Church, Barnesville, with Rev. David Barrett officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
