MAGUIRE, LENA IONA - 1914-2005. At the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 17th 2005 Lena Iona (Boyd) Maguire, wife of the late Samuel C. Maguire. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John and Amelia (Splane) Boyd. Lena resided in Lorneville most of her married life. She was a member of Potts Lodge #669 and an adherent of the Lorneville United Church. Lena was the loving mother of James D. (Jimmie) and very special Nanny to grandson Sam Maguire and his wife Shirley and granddaughter Shelley Maguire, great grandchildren Stephanie and Sammy Maguire; also survived by one sister Lottie Evans all of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by son Samuel C (Sammie) 1999 and her daughter in-law Patricia (Weaver) 1985, eight brothers and four sisters. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home, Fallsview Chapel, 309 Lancaster Ave, (634-1701). Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2005 at 2 pm from Fallsview Chapel. Interment in the Lorneville Cemetery. Visiting at "Fallsview" on Tuesday July 19th, 2005 from 2- 4 and 7 - 9 pm.
