CYR, GISELE - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, July 22, 2005, Mrs. Gisele Cyr of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 64 years. She was the wife of Wilbert Cyr. Born at Drummond in 1940, she was a daughter of Alcide and Laura (Ouellette) Bouchard. Mrs. Cyr was a member of the Grand Falls Golden Age Club. Besides her husband and her parents, she is survived by three children, Aldeo Cyr (Rina), Colette Kavanaugh (Patrick) and Jimmy Cyr (Nathalie), seven grandchildren, Scott, Nicholas, Jessica, Marc-Andre, Ricko, Melanie and Joelle, all of Grand Falls, one brother, Jean Ouellette (Lily) of Grand Falls, one sister, Armande Ouellette (Kristina Marvin) of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mireille Cyr and a brother, Joseph Lavoie. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral will be held Monday, July 25th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls, with interment in the Saint-Georges Cemetery.
