McKNIGHT, DELLA LAW - The death of Della L. (Gamblin) McKnight, widow of Fred L. McKnight, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at the age of 95. Della was born in Apohaqui, the daughter of the late Isaac and Edith (Law) Gamblin. Della is survived by: son, Murray and Thelma McKnight, Saint John; daughters, Ruth and John Smith, Dartmouth, NS and Janet and Leigh McKnight, Midland; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one niece; Starr and Glen Barrett, Welland ON. She was predeceased by her brother; Murray I. Gamblin and grandson; Weldon F. McKnight. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, Tuesday, 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held from the Norton Wesleyan Church, on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John.
