MEEHAN, GARY WAYNE - Mr. Gary Wayne Meehan of Queen St. Sussex, NB, passed away at his residence on July 31, 2005 at the age of 58. Born in Sussex, NB on July 14, 1947, he was the son of Hugh Meehan and Myra (Howe) Osborne. Gary is survived by his father and his step mother Elsie Meehan of Sussex, and by his mother and step father Weldon Osborne of Sussex, his son Stephen Meehan of Niagara Falls, Ontario, his sister Sharon Lewis and her husband Bryan of Surrey, BC, his brother Bob Meehan and his wife Barbara of Hope, BC, his step-sister, Betty Damery of Oromocto,, his step-brother Carl Doyle and his wife Linda of Sussex, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Gary was a welder and worked at New York Boiler in Sussex, in Ontario, PEI and Duncan, BC. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20 and he enjoyed playing cards and pool. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 2:00pm with the interment at Kirk Hill Cemetery.
