Faith Marie Burgess She Cared May 15, 1932 - April 13, 2008 Passed peacefully into the Lord’s care while in her sleep following a mercifully brief and courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving and beloved wife of Bruce Burgess, mother to Clifford (Caroline) and Wendy, and grandmother to Andrew, Ian, Matthew, Michael, Maxine, Kevin and Brendan. She is survived by her sisters Gayle (Bruce) and Joan and by her brother Douglas (Stephanie). Predeceased by her brother Peter. Faith spent her life devoted to the care and comfort of others – from teaching physically and mentally challenged children how to swim, to comforting palliative care patients. Thanks to Dr. Mary Jane Randlett and her staff and also to the nurses and caregivers at Bayshore Home Nursing and ParaMed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Andrew’s – Knox United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Faith, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
