F. LAWRENCE FLOYD

FLOYD, F. LAWRENCE - The death of F. Lawrence Floyd of Barnesville, husband of Marie (Totten) Floyd occurred August 13, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Bloomfield, son of the late Ernest and Gertrude (Dixon) Floyd. Lawrence was employed with Imperial Oil Ltd. as a truck driver for approximately twenty years. After his early retirement with the company he worked at various jobs in Hampton, Rothesay and Barnesville. Surviving besides his wife Marie are two daughters Cheryl Sweet (Raymond), St. Martins, Gloria Floyd, Barnesville; two step-daughters Evelyn Price (Neil), Barnesville, Judy Mooers (Larry), Moncton; two sisters Evelyn Carleton, Quispamsis, Marion Armstrong, Pefferlaw, ON; two brothers Harold Floyd (Nancy), Saint John, Vernon Floyd (Laura), Woodstock; four step-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visiting Monday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 2:00 pm, at Barnesville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ron Henderson officiating. A private committal service in Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery will follow.
