CORMIER, WILLIAM CURTIS - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a period of failing health, Bill Cormier, beloved husband of the late Leila (Clark) Cormier, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 19, 2005. Born in Saint John, NB., he was the son of the late William and Bertha (McCullum) Cormier. Fishing was Bill's passion and family was everything to him. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. Bill is survived by his children; Fred (Wanda) , Deborah Fillis, Sandra (Norman) Adams, Linda (William Dennis) Cormier, George (Belinda), Norman, Gary (Sally), and Judy (Tom) Roberts all of Saint John, NB., brothers Donville (Vivian), and Earl, and Step-sister Shirley Cormier, also of Saint John, NB., 13 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, as well as, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and loving wife Leila, Bill was predeceased by his son Richard Bruce in infancy, son-in-law Leo Fillis, daughter-in-law Grace Cormier, eight brothers and one sister. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB., (634-1701) with visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 22, 2005 from the Chapel at 10 o'clock. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Donations in Bill's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
