It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Ivany announce her sudden and tragic death in a motorcycle accident in Gander on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at age 47. Predeceased by her parents Violet and Wallace Ivany, baby brother, father-in-law Martin (Max) Edwards. Left devastated and with a broken heart her husband Paul Edwards of Gander. Also left to mourn, daughter Sara (Mike) Brownhill of Cyprus; son Nicholas Gallant of Edmonton; step-son Scott Edwards of St. John's; sisters: Carol (Austin) Adams of Shoal Harbour, Marlie Ivany (Craig Dunn) of Gander; mother-in-law Betty Edwards of Gander; sister-in-law Jean Edwards Stacey (Peter), St. John's; brothers-in-law: Peter Edwards of Vancouver and Kenny (Jung Ae) Edwards of Pusan, Korea. Also a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation at Stacey's Funeral Home in Gander, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m. at the United Church in Gander. Donations in Susan's memory may be made to Ride for Sight.
