WHEATON, RONALD G. - The death of Ronald G. Wheaton, husband of the late Cora Beatrice 'Cody' (Bradley) Wheaton, occurred on August 22, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John West he was the son of the late George J. and Alice L. (Grondine) Wheaton. He was a mechanic by trade having worked with various companies during his career. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his son Rev. Mark Wheaton and his wife Jane of Bloomfield, Carleton Co., NB, his daughter Dawn Wheaton of Woodstock, NB, his sisters Lillian Harrison of Saint John East, Florence Stewart and her husband Douglas of Saint John West, his grandchildren Cheralyn, Daniel and Stephen and several nieces and nephews. His brother Allen H. Wheaton predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2005, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In keeping with Mr. Wheaton's dedication to the fight against Alzheimer's Disease, which inflicted his wife, the family has suggested remembrances be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Saint John, the First Wesleyan Church or the charity of the donor's choice. www.brenansfh.com
