FILLMORE, ESMIE D. - The death of Esmie D. Fillmore of Hampton, widow of Baxter M.W. Fillmore occurred August 26, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Jamaica, daughter of the late Vincent and Victoria (Geddes) Jackson. She moved to Hampton in 1983. Survived by one daughter Susan Fillmore at home, one son Odeen Whitter at home; five sisters Jean Thompson (Ridley), Janice Truwick (Herbert), Iona Jackson and Joyce Jackson of Jamaica, Heather Jackson of Pennsylvania; three brothers Kemp Lloyd Jackson and Derval Jackson of Jamaica and Noel Jackson of Moncton; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Friday, 3:00 pm, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hampton, with Rev. Wally Collett officiating.
