MORRISON, ETHEL E. - The death of Ethel E. Morrison of McKellar's Special Care Home, Bonney Road, Hampton, formerly of Titusville and Saint John (Brentwood) beloved wife of the late Albert E. Morrison occurred August 31, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Kenora, ON, daughter of the late Olaf and Sally (Johanson) Martinson. Ethel attended elementary and secondary schools in Kenora, ON. She graduated from Toronto Bible College in 1946 and became a licensed Baptist minister. She served in two fields in New Brunswick; Hillsdale, Hammond and Poodiac and Grand Falls and Ortonville as pastor. Ethel was a member of the Baptist Church. She will be best remembered for her work among the children of Titusville Sunday School, afternoon ladies Bible Study and Singspiration so well attended and enjoyed. Her community was her concern. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are two daughters Darlene Watson (Verne) of Hamilton, Velda Popp (George) of Calgary; one stepson Sandy Morrison (Donna) of Titusville; three sisters-in-law Ethel R. Morrison of Titusville, Ethel Flewelling of Rothesay, Vera Morrison of Sussex; five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter Gale Simmons of ON; sister Anna King of Kenora, ON and brother Oscar Martinson of St. Catharines, ON. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Saturday, 1:00pm, at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Harwood officiating.
