PHIPPEN, GORDON L. - 1930-2005. Gordon L. Phippen, Lakeview Manor, formerly of Blythwood Ave. Riverview, passed away on Tuesday, August 30th 2005. Born in Toronto, March 31 1930, son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Johnston) Phippen. He was a Trade & Marketing Consultant. Gordon served on boards & committees such as The Canadian Export Assoc., The N.B. Trade Development Board, The Association of N. B. Trade Advisory Council & The Canadian Institute of Marketing. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Orpha of Riverview, two sons; Gordon (Pat) of Florenceville, Kevin of Norton, two daughters; Sue Ness (Bob) of Bellisle, Wendy Boyd (Mitch) of Cambridge Narrows, step daughter Joann Holliday Cambridge, ON., thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Richardson and a brother Kenny in infancy. By personal request there will be no visitation at the Funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, 28 Woolridge Ave. Riverview on Friday, September 2 at 2:00 PM, The Rev. Albert Snelgrove officiating. A reception for Gordon's family and friends will be held in the church hall following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Serenity Nitch.
