GRAY (LEWIS) (SEARL), RHODA WINNIFRED- Died 20th August 2005 at Cardston Hospital, Cardston Alberta. She was born 29th September 1923 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of George R. Lewis and Katherine McLeod. Rhoda married Sydney James Gray on the 5th of March, 1941. They lived in the Saint John area for many years. In 1966, they moved to British Columbia and lived in Midway and Greenwood. Rhoda is predeceased by her husband, three infant children, Rhoda Sharon, Wayne James, and Judith Ann, her parents and three brothers, Roland M. Lewis, Clyde Edwin Lewis and Clarence Harley Lewis, also three sisters, Theays, Audrey and Kathleen Beatrice. Rhoda is survived by one son, James Stanley (Nina) Gray of Castlegar, B.C. and two daughters, Muriel Virginia (Bob) Simpson of Duffield, Alberta and Theays Elizabeth(Edwin) Boyce of Kimball, Alberta; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Grave side service took place at the Kimball Cemetery in August 23rd, 2005, Kimball, Alberta, Salmon Funeral Home of Cardston assisted the family.
