HAWKES, DOROTHY M - The death of Dorothy Marguerite (Dickinson) Hawkes, age 86 of Woodstock, NB occurred at the Carleton Memorial Hospital on Saturday Sept 3, 2005. Wife of the late Gerald Wayne Hawkes. She was the daughter of the late Emerson and Clara Dickinson of Union Corner, NB and is survived by her children: daughters, Shirley Hawkes, Woodstock, NB, Elizabeth (Betty) Hawkes, Toronto, ON, sons, Richard Hawkes (predeceased), Robert Hawkes, Edmonton, AB, son-in-law, Rainer Soegtrop, Toronto, ON; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Culberson Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, NB on Monday Sept 5th between the hours of 7-9 PM with funeral services at Saint James United Church on Tuesday, Sept 6th at 1 PM. Graveside service and interment will follow at Woodstock Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint James United Church Chimes Fund or charity of choice.
