WILLS, WILLIAM DAVID - The death of William David Wills of Lincoln, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 3rd, 2005. Born on November 16th, 1938 in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Gordon and Leda (Weir) Wills and the wife of Ruby (Phillips) Wills. Bill resided in Saint John until 1978 then moved to Fredericton with his wife and children to take over the management of Wilmot Apartments. He was also a former employee of Atlantic Wholesalers. He was a member and Elder of Wesley United Church, was active in the Choir and Men's Club, a member of the Official Board and a former member of the Lincoln Lions Club. Survived by his wife Ruby; one daughter, Kathryn Wills of Saint John, NB, two sons, Richard (Lynn) of Ontario and Bruce (Stephanie) of Halifax; six grandchildren, Stephanie Wills of Alberta, Foster Arseneault of Saint John, Spencer Arseneault of Saint John, Ryan Wills of Halifax; Richard Wills of Ontario and Andrew Wills of Ontario. Predeceased by his parents, brother, Gordon and sister Linda. There will be no visitation by family request. A memorial service will be held at the Wesley United Church in Lincoln on Wednesday, September 7th at 2:00 pm. Rev. Hilder will officiate. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
