CORMIER, LIONEL 1922 - 2005 - At his residence, on Thursday, September 15, 2005, at the age of 83 years old and 5 months, died suddenly Mr. Lionel Cormier, husband of Alice C. Godin, from Anse-Bleue. He was son of late John Cormier and late Flora Landry. Beside his wife, he is survived by: six daughters: Ginette (Jean-André Lévesque) from Moncton, Gilberte (Alban Benoit) from Caraquet, Rosemonde (Léonce Thériault) from Village des Poirier, Suzanne (late Claude Landry) from Anse-Bleue, Mariette (Sylvain OBomsawin) from Quebec, Sylvie (Victor Robichaud) from Grande-Anse; two sons: Jean-Michel (Florence Theberge) from Grande-Anse, Robert (Monique Légère) from Fredericton; 14 grand children; three great grandchildren; one brother: Roger (Martine Landry) from Grande-Anse; three sisters: Bertha (late Loronzo Boudreau) from Maisonnette, Florine (René Savoie) from St-Colomban, PQ, Denise (Hilaire Roy) from New-Richmond, PQ. He was predeceased by two grandchildren: Carole and Geneviève; one brother: Dolor (late Anna). The remains of Mr. Cormier will be resting at LeGresley's Funeral Home, 322 Acadie St, Grande-Anse from Sunday, 2 p.m. The funeral will be Monday, September 19, at 4 p.m. at Grande-Anse Catholic Church St-Simon and St-Jude. Burial will take place in parish cemetery. At the request of the family, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated. Mr. Cormier was a Knight of Columbus, 4th degree, a veteran of the 2nd World War, and member of the Canadian Legion, Caraquet Branch.
