BAIRD, LEONARD LAWRENCE - On Saturday, September 24, 2005, Leonard Baird, loving husband of Elsie (Wright) Baird, passed away peacefully at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he the son of the Late Dr. Edward and Doris Baird. In addition to his wife and mother, Leonard is survived by his children Dan (Florida), Brian (French Village, NB), Sandra McClusky (Rothesay, NB), and Karen Cummings (Hampton, NB). Leonard will be sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, and siblings Norman Baird (New River Beach, NB) and Lori Prefontain (Quispamsis, NB). Friends may call at the Castle Funeral Home Kings Chapel, 154 Hampton Road, Rothesay, (849-1702) from 1 o'clock until time of Memorial Service on Thursday, September 29, 2005 in the Kings Chapel at 2 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Leonard may be made to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
