Graham Keith Baxter Family and friends are deeply saddened at the sudden loss of their loved one Graham Keith Baxter, age 52 of Amherst and Tidnish Cross Roads on Sunday, December 14, 2008 as the result of a tragic accident. Born in Amherst, he was the son of Evelyn (Robinson) Baxter of Tidnish Cross Roads and the late Keith Baxter. A gentle man who enjoyed family and friends and the simple things of life. He was known as an avid hunter and fisherman, a steward of the wilderness. Graham was in his element in the outdoors and with his horses, Sonny and Two Socks. A well known carpenter and contractor, he worked locally and up north. Forever loved and sadly missed by his mother; fiance Deborah (Rusty) Nickerson, son Jacob (Jeanene Davidson) of Fort McMurray, AB, daughters Megan Baxter (Steve Embree) of Amherst and Brittany "Bart" Baxter (Matt Yorke) of Moncton, grandchildren Moira and Rowan Embree, step daughter Erica Nickerson (Darren Barber), step grandchildren J'Lynn and Mandel Nickerson of Amherst, sisters Ferne (Doug) Chapman of Amherst Shore and Elda Baxter and brother Ross (Nancy) both of Tidnish, nieces Sarah, Jennifer and Heather and nephew David and many uncles, aunts and cousins. His remains are resting at Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church, Victoria Street, Amherst with Rev. Steve Longmoore officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish. Donations in Graham's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. www.campbells-amherst.ca
