MYERS, HELEN B. (MOFFATT) - On Tuesday, October 4, 2005, Helen "Honey" B. Myers, beloved wife of Robert J. Myers, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jane (Craft) Moffatt. Honey was a member of St. George's Anglican Church and sang in the choir for over 25 years. She was an excellent bridge player and she loved to bowl. Music was her passion and Honey was an accomplished pianist. In addition to her loving husband Bob, Honey is survived by her brother Byron (Sybil) Moffatt, Mississauga, ON; sisters Joan Moffatt, Saint John West, NB., and Edith (Jack) McCullum, Tucson, AZ., USA., son-in-law John McHenry and grandchildren Kaitlin, Sean, and Mark McHenry all of Calgary, AB., as well as, several nieces and nephews. Honey was predeceased by her only daughter Kristine (Syversen) McHenry, brothers Hebert and Fred, and sisters Iva, Rita, Thyrza, and Dawn. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John, NB., (634-1701) with visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 1:30 pm from St. George's Anglican Church. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Garden followed by a reception in the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Donations in Honey's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice would certainly be appreciated by the family.
