STANHOPE, B. VIRGINIA - On Sunday, October 2, 2005, Bertha Virginia Stanhope went home to rest in the palm of God's Hand. She joins her husband (RSM.) Hazen Leonard Stanhope (RCAMC) who predeceased her in 1955. Virginia is survived by her son Michael Kevin Stanhope and her daughter Margaret Lynne Stanhope, Peggy Stanhope and Ann Quinn. She also leaves two grand children and three great grand children. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Virginia was laid to rest with her husband in Saint Joseph's Cemetery. The dark moment the caterpillar calls the end of the world is the sun filled moment the butterfly calls the beginning.
