SMITH, MARGARET W. - The death of Margaret Warren (Barker) Smith, of Kennebec Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Loch Lomond Villa Apartments, wife of the late Earl Smith, occurred on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at her residence. Born in Newcastle, NB on August 2, 1902, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Craig) Barker. Margaret was formerly employed with Furness Whithy, where she had worked as a book-keeper. She was a member of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew Church and was a former member of Trinity Church. She is survived by one sister, Maryon Phyllis Barker of Saint John. She was predeceased by one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Goodwin. By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. Memorial service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
