SMALL, GORDON JAMES - Born on November 29, 1933. Passed away peacefully at the Lakeshore General Hospital on October 18, 2005. Much loved husband of Helen Szabad. Cherished father of Wendy Appleby, Susan Hawkins and Stephen Small. Great Papa to Tim and Jamie Stevens, Corey and Craig Hawkins. He will be sadly missed by all members of the Swinging Stars, other relatives, friends and his two cats Misty and Precious. Gordie retired from CP Rail in 1991 and was a member of the Masons and Shriners. The visition will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux (514-685-3344) on Saturday, October 22 from 10:30AM to 2PM, with service in the chapel at 2PM followed by the burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Karnak Shriners or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
