GRIFFITH, CATHERINE "KITTY"- The death of Catherine "Kitty" Griffith of McCavour Drive, Saint John West, wife of the late William Griffith, occurred on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PE. Born on September 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Travers) Vickers. Kitty was born in Coachmans Cove, NL, grew up in St. John's, NL and spent most of her life in Saint John, NB. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and their CWL. She is survived by two sons, James "Jim" (Jean Ives) of Victoria, BC and Peter (Elizabeth "Betty") of Saint John, one daughter, Patricia "Pat" Lawlor (Edward) of Charlottetown, PE, seven grandchildren, Mark and Paul Griffith, Richard and Kelly Griffith, Cathy Reid, Peter and Steven Lawlor. She was predeceased by ten brothers. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Milford Road, Saint John West, on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
