WHEELAN, JAMES A. SR. - 77, Of Woodstock, NB, formerly of Scotland passed away October 30, 2005 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on November 14, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Mary Wheelan. James is survived by his wife Mina (Glassford) Wheelan, ten sons, John (Mary), Jim (Connie), Irvine (Janet), Billy (Sarah), Colin (Sandra), Brian (Shelley), Stuart (Annette), Barry (Nanette), Derrick (Misty), Mark (Rachel) and one daughter Sandra Albright (Robert), 26 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, Aunt and Uncle Elizabeth and Willie Anderson, Ontario. James was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Wheelan of Scotland. Visitation at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road on Monday October 31 from 7-9 and Tuesday November 1 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 2 at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 11 AM with Rev. Fred Snyder officiating. Burial to follow in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Extra Mural Hospital, Canadian Red Cross or a memorial of the donor's choice.
