EMMERSON, HENRY - The death of Henry Emmerson of Minto, NB occurred Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005 at the Queen's North Health Complex. Born in Rothwell, NB he was the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Gaddess) Emmerson. Henry loved "The Lake", family gatherings, music and was an avid card player. He was a member of NB Power 25 Year Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 12 of Minto, a Life member of Minto Senior Citizen Club and attended the Trinity United Church. Survived by two sons David (Wendy) of Saint John, NB and Vance (Ellen) of Moncton, NB; a daughter Sherry Lou Kiervin (Jim) of Quispamsis, NB; a special friend Lillian Thompson of Lakeville Corner, NB; nine grandchildren Mark, Jason and Jenn Kiervin, Jeff, Kristen and Julie Emmerson, Michael Emmerson, Jennifer Theriault and Jason Urquhart; three great grandchildren Brayden, Hayden and Avalon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Henry was predeceased by his wife Ella (Palmer) Emmerson; brothers Edward, Jack, George, Andrew, Swailes, David and William. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, November 5th, 2005 at the Trinity United Church with Rev. Nancy Ritchie officiating. Interment will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Donations made to the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. All comrades are invited to attend a Legion tribute Service at the Funeral Home Friday evening at 7:00PM.
