GANDERTON, JEAN TOWNSHEND (MacKENZIE) - The death of Mrs. Jean Townshend (MacKenzie) Ganderton, wife of the late William G. Ganderton, formerly of 29 Barbara Crescent, occurred on Friday November 4, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1921 in Saint John she was the only child of the late Malcolm and Mary Frances (Townshend) MacKenzie. Jean was well known for her interest in Harness Racing and Dog Breeding. She is survived by cousin Ethel (James) Knox of PEI; and several friends. By request there will be no visitations. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday November 7, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. A private interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
