HELEN AUGUSTA (TUCKER) McGARRIGLE
McGARRIGLE, HELEN AUGUSTA (TUCKER) - At the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on November 4, 2005, Mrs. Helen Augusta (Justason) (Tucker) McGarrigle, wife of the late Lorne Elmer McGarrigle. Born in Milltown, NB on July 16, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Bradford) Justason. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by two sons, Wayne (Lily) Tucker of L'Etete and Glendon (Diane) Tucker of L'Etang; one sister, Vivian Surette of Blacks Harbour; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Russell Tucker; one son, Ross Tucker; and two brothers, Arnold and Reginald. Helen loved to spend time knitting and crocheting. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Blacks Harbour. In the summer, along with Vivian and several friends, she could be seen strolling the grounds of Beulah Camp in Browns Flat, or sitting around the cosy fireside at night. The service will be held at the Wesleyan Church, Blacks Harbour, on Monday at 3:00 pm, followed by interment in St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the church on Sunday from 7-9 pm. In Helen's memory, donations to the Fundy Nursing Home Chapel or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
