RAYMOND (PETER) SUDSBEAR
SUDSBEAR, RAYMOND (PETER) - Passed away unexpectedly at the SJRH on November 7, 2005. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late George and Desneiges Sudsbear and husband of Theresa (Stack) Sudsbear. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 17 years, was a member and past president of Legion Branch #62. He was employed as a boiler maker with the Saint John Shipbuilding until his retirement in the late 1980's. He is survived by two sons; Tom (Sharon) of Oromocto and Shane (Pam) of Alberta, three daughters; Bridget (Michael) Hornyak of Saint John, Mary (Elias) White of Alberta and Dorothy Sudsbear of Moncton, two brothers; George (Margaret) Sudsbear of Alberta and Robert (Mary) Sudsbear of Saint John, four sisters; Pauline Gorham of Kingston Peninsula, Joan Short of Kingston Peninsula, Hilda McIllwraith of Saint John and Ruth Kobus of British Columbia. Also, survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday & Friday from 2 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Peters Church on Saturday at 10:00 am followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery and reception to follow in the church hall. Canadian Legion tribute to a veteran service will be held on Thursday evening at 7 PM. Donations to the charity of donors choice would be appreciated by the family. www.awcavanagh.com
