ALBERT SAMUEL (ABE) FAIRWEATHER
FAIRWEATHER, ALBERT SAMUEL (ABE) - husband of Violet (Lawrence) (Spragg) Fairweather, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, November 15, 2005. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Leonard and Alice (McVane) Fairweather. Albert was employed at the Port Saint John for 44 years and was an honorary member of I.L.A. 273. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In addition to his wife Violet, Albert is survived by his children Mary Hatto, Saint John; Roxanne (Danny) Tytler, Quispamsis; Albert (Susan), Rothesay; John (Carolyn), Hamilton, Ont; Ronald (Maggie), Saint John; Jamie, Saint John; step children Sandra (Hans) Langguth, Quispamsis; Carole Spragg, Saint John; Brian (Linda) Spragg, Saint John; Terry Spragg, Brampton, Ont; James Spragg, Saint John; Melody (Colin) Coady, Moncton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by brothers Thomas and Leonard Fairweather and sisters Annie and Rita. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday evening 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
