(Moose) Joseph Died, peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 17, 2008, in his 80th year at the Westmount Nursing Home, Kitchener. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Boland) Hedderson (2006) of 55 years. Loving father of Brian (Florence), Helen Sweeney (John), Marie Murphy (Dan), Margaret Sweeney (Warwick), Linda (daughter-in-law), Cassie Flaherty (Joey), Frances Small, Mike, Madonna Quirk (Mike) and Mark. Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Francis Hedderson; sisters: Kathleen Brenton and Dorothy (Dot) Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by his son Paul (2006) and son-in-law Harry Small (2007). Caring poppy to Rodney (Samantha), Nadine, Kerry (Dave), Janice (Mike), Denise, Nikolas, Erin (Wayne), MacKenzie, Madison, Cameron, Michaela, Stacey, Mitchell, Emily and Blake and three great-grandchildren, Devyn, Kaden and Ella Marie. Survived by sisters-in-law: Geraldine (Walt) Galway and Lillian Boland. Moose was a former employee of Dosco Mines, Bell Island and retired from the Canadian General Tower. Friends are invited to share their memories of Francis (Moose) with his family at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main Street, Cambridge on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home Sunday evening at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's RC Church, Wellington St., Cambridge on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
