AGNES C. DOHANEY

DOHANEY, AGNES C. - (1921-2005) Agnes C. Dohaney, 84 of Lorentz Dr., Moncton passed away on November 25, 2005 at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital following a short illness. Born in Chipman, she was the daughter of the late William and Susanna (Monahan) Dohaney. Agnes was a graduate of Teachers College Fredericton and taught for 2 years in the N.B. School system. She then went on to work for the Dept. of National Defense - Moncton # 5 Supply Depot RCAF for 37 years. She attended Holy Family Church & previously St. Augustine's Church. She was a member of the CWL, Legion of Mary, a Eucharistic Minister and also a proud member of the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of New Brunswick. Agnes will be sadly missed by her sister, Sr. Margaret Dohaney; Sisters of Charity, Saint John; brother, John Dohaney (Miriam), Chipman; sister-in-law, Yolande Dohaney; Lincoln. Aggie leaves behind three nieces, four nephews and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as many friends. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity towards others. Predeceased by her brothers, George and James. Funeral arrangements in care of Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road (858-1995). At Agnes' request no visitation hours, family flowers only. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church Tuesday November 29, 2005, 11am, Rev. Jeff Doucette officiating. Reception following the mass. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Chipman.
