FLEIGER, CLARENCE J. - Clarence J. Fleiger will be remembered by family and friends as a beautiful singer and entertainer. In his early years he performed with his brother Roger on Canadian Radio and Television. He could always be found in front of a piano at any family gathering and sang at many weddings and celebrations including singing at both of his daughter's weddings. He loved the joy that music could bring to any occasion. He was born in Saint John and returned to live there 8 years ago. Prior to retiring, he served as the director of music at Light of Christ Catholic Church in Clearwater, Florida where he lived for many years with his family. He is survived by his two daughters Jennifer Gruskin (Michael) and Jocelyn Ruggiero (Alfred) as well as his four grandchildren. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Thursday from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joachims Parish on Friday at 11:00am followed by interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
