REID, STANLEY ARTHUR - Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on November 28, 2005, Mr. Stanley Arthur Reid of Saint John. Born in St. George on July 27, 1941, he was a son of the late Arthur Alexander and Irene Blanche (Dow) Reid. A loving father to daughters, Aleta (Alex) Vizino of Cold Lake, AB, Graytan Reid of Oshawa, ON, and Julie Reid (Artie) of Saint John; sons, Royce (Donna) Reid of Kitchener, ON and Patrick Reid of Ontario; grandfather to Arthur, Kyle, Alicia, Melissa, John, Dylan, Ally and Clara; brother to Eunice Bechard of Halifax, NS, Peggy (Gil) Black of Quispamsis, Jim Reid (Liz) of St. Catharines ON and Rick Reid (Louise) of Eel River Crossing, NB; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Stanley had been employed as a taxi driver for the last 17 years with various companies in Saint John. He was very active within his building unit with various functions and was very helpful to his neighbours. He loved to walk and he enjoyed cooking and food in general. Recently, he became a computer enthusiasts and enjoyed emailing his family and friends with jokes and stories. Resting at "St. George Funeral Home" 26 Portage Street, St. George (755-2533), NB E5C 3L6 from where the service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. Visiting at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Stanley's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. (www.stgeorgfh.ca)
