JONES, ELEANOR MAY - The death of Eleanor M. Jones of Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Kenneth A. Jones, occurred on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the age of 100. Born in Toronto, ON a daughter of the late Richard and Eleanor (Hoffman) Johnson. Survived by one son, Kent (Yvonne) Jones of Saint John; two daughters, Nancy (Peter) Lees of Toronto and Carolyn (Winston) Thompson of Rothesay, NB; seven grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, seven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sisters, Min, Girly and Mary; and four brothers: Richard, George, William and Berton. Eleanor was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB with visitation on Sunday from 2-4 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2005 at 12 noon with interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
