It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Sheppard announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Gene of Meadows, Ivan of Meadows, Diane (Foward) Lovell of Kitchener, ON, and Karen (Dennis) Quinlan of Birchy Bay, NL; grandchildren: Nyle, Marsha, Mark, Bobbi Jo, Michelle and Cathy; great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Kelsey and Katie; brothers: Ted and Lowell; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Kitty and sister, Marion. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Cox’s Cove on Friday, February 29, 2008 beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joan Coles officiating. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Cox’s Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
